1Click DVD Copy Pro by LG Software offers a quick, painless way to copy DVD movies to blank DVDs. The program is compatible with Vista and uses a technology called CPRx.
We successfully made a copy of our test DVD using both main modes. Main Movie sheds all the bonus material (making the file smaller). Full Movie lets you copy and burn the main movie as well as all the bonus material. We had no trouble using either of these functions. There’s also a preview screen that runs during the copy that is somewhat entertaining if you’re sitting there waiting for something to happen.
The presets are helpful for test run and sometimes might turn out to be exactly what you needed anyway. Otherwise, you are offered a certain amount of freedom to tinker with these (for example, choosing the burning speed).
Copying capabilities are somewhat limited with this program as compared to our top-ranked products: 1Click will work with DVD files. It will copy to and from your hard drive, compress DVD-9 to DVD-5 and supports menus.
